The All-Stars Academy

will be entering its’ 16th

season in the Albany

Twilight League (ATL), one of the oldest amateur baseball leagues in America that will be celebrating its’ 78th season this year.  During our 16 years in the ATL, All-Stars Academy has collected 3 league championships winning back, to back, to back championships in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

All-Stars Academy had been the home for many former professionals including 1996, 1997 & 1998 League MVP Mike Serbalik, 2000 & 2001 league MVP Paul Reinisch, 2002 League MVP Joe Mariano and last years League MVP Virgil Chevalier.  All-Stars Academy has also been the starting point for many current professional players including Matt Rusch who is currently entering his 3rd season in the Detroit Tigers system and Derek Himpsl who will be entering his 2nd season in the Atlanta Braves system.

In 2008 All-Stars Academy looks to bring a competitive team to opening day in May and once again compete for the Albany Twilight League Championship.

OUR SPONSOR:

All-Stars Academy opened the doors to its enormous new baseball/softball facility in February of 2007. The site features a full size baseball infield and offers hitting tunnels that can be used for both baseball and softball. Owner Mike Serbalik has sponsored a team and played in the Albany Twilight League for 16 seasons. Mike played locally at Siena College and was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. After his professional career, Serbalik came back to the Capital Region to open Grand Slam, USA before opening the doors to All-Stars Academy. All-Stars Academy is currently open to the public and offers hitting lessons for your future all-stars. Hours of operation are from 3pm - 10pm Monday - Friday and 10am - 10pm Saturday - Sunday. Check our contacts page for more information or call 220-9140.
